There is hardly another wheel on the market that is as polarizing as the Crownjewel wheel. The timeless, elegant design and solid construction have made the wheel as indispensable to a modified Mercedes-Benz model as the Mercedes star itself. The guys at PP Exclusive not only specialize in the elegant tuning of saloons from Stuttgart, they also sell the popular Crownjewel wheel.
In this case, two elegant CLS models, a 350 and a 63 AMG, were not only fitted with the striking Crownjewel wheel, but also skillfully tuned. In the wheel arches of the black CLS63 AMG, the 10×20-inch Crownjewel spins at the front with 255/30/20 Michelin tires and a 3.5-inch-wide outer bed.
A 12×20-inch wheel with 305 tires and a five-inch outer bed is used on the rear axle. An electronic lowering module is responsible for the extremely low ride height of the CLS chassis.
The white CLS350 also has an impressive low ride height, here also created by an electronic lowering module, whereby the depth can be individually adjusted using the buttons on the steering wheel. Matching the white exterior color, the stars of the crown jewel wheel also shine in brilliant white in this conversion. At the front in 10×20 with 255/30/20 and at the rear in 12×20 with 305/25/20 Hankook tires, this wheel/tire combination fills the wheel arches of the Stuttgart coupé saloon to the millimetre.
The beds of this combination are equally impressive, with five-inch-wide stainless steel beds at the front and six-inch-wide beds at the rear. The conversion of the white CLS is rounded off by a handmade stainless steel sports exhaust system from the catalytic converter, including a perfect sound.
